The Specialized Project Manager, known on the Data Platforms Orchestration Services team as the Back-End Integration Analyst (BEIA), leads projects from intake through delivery to production. In this capacity, the BEIA will combine Scrum facilitation, technical analysis, Project management and software delivery: turning requirements into JIRA work, guiding the team through estimation and planning, tracking capacity and commitments with Team Lead, and keeping stakeholders informed on status, risks, and timelines. Candidates do not need to be an expert in every discipline, but you do need hands-on experience in being a Scrum Master, Technical Analyst, and Project Manager. Success requires critical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn quickly.

What You’ll Do: Intake and planning:

  • Perform intake in accordance with Data Platforms Orchestration Services team process and create necessary JIRA tickets from provided requirements
  • Guide the development team through estimation and planning
  • Participate in Architecture/Design activities

Delivery and prioritization:

  • Proactively manage development deliverables to completion and ensure the team understands and works on tasks in accordance with project priority
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and proactively remove blockers/resolve issues
  • Perform initial triage on issues and questions from stakeholder teams during UAT
  • Answer inquiries about our API logic and data retrieved from upstream system teams
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in two or more of Scrum Master, Technical Analyst, or Project management, with working knowledge of the other
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Working experience in cloud-based Microservice architecture environment
  • Ability to write effective requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand the architecture and overall functionality of the software services the team is responsible for
  • Ability to help members of other teams understand the needs and communications of the software development team, and to help the development team understand the needs and communications of stakeholders and Data Platforms Orchestration Services leadership
  • Experience troubleshooting and investigating API software behavior using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, an API client, and AI tools

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the following tools:

  • Apollo Studio

  • Karate (Karate Labs test automation framework)
  • AI Tools (Amazon Kiro/Claude)

Familiarity with the following technologies and concepts:

  • REST APIs
  • GraphQL APIs
  • Blue/Green or Canary deployment
  • Kubernetes
  • Helm Charts
  • Microservice architecture
  • Cloud-based software environments
  • Cloud-native software development
