Our Client is seeking an AWS Cloud Application Support Engineer .
Duties Include:
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and APIs hosted in AWS environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability
- Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations of enterprise applications using AWS services, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, query analysis, data integrity, and issue resolution
- Develop, maintain, and support Python-based services and RESTful APIs that integrate with internal and external business applications
Requirements
- Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting cloud applications and APIs in AWS
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQL, Docker, GitHub Actions, and AWS CloudWatch for deployments, monitoring, and issue resolution
- Experience with Python-based services, REST APIs, and AWS services such as ECS, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager, and managed PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with TypeScript, AWS CDK, or other infrastructure-as-code tools is preferred
- Experience supporting SAP, finance, procurement, or supply chain systems is highly valued
