Our Client is seeking a contract Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller. This role can be remote. This role will join the team on a contract basis and take immediate ownership of the month-end close and core accounting processes. This role will work report directly to Finance Leadership. Summary: This is a highly execution-oriented role for an accounting professional who can step in quickly, operate independently, identify gaps, and bring structure and consistency to the close process. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced, growing environment and is comfortable working through complex accounting issues, acquisitions, and evolving processes. The role will report directly to finance leadership and will play an important role in supporting Q4, year-end close, and the continued development of the accounting function. The initial engagement is expected to last 4-6 months, with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to a permanent position based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and execute the monthly close process from start to finish
• Develop, implement, and maintain a practical month-end close checklist and timeline
• Identify missing or incomplete accruals and ensure appropriate accounting treatment
