We are seeking a Power Platform Developer/Application Support Analyst to support the development, administration, and enhancement of critical business applications within a large public sector environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, cloud-based applications, SQL Server, and business process automation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and support applications using Power Apps and Power Pages
- Build, maintain, and optimize workflow automation solutions using Power Automate
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Create and maintain application documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Monitor application health, perform routine system checks, and respond to support tickets
- Develop and maintain integrations between Power Platform, SQL Server, SharePoint, and external APIs
- Write T-SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and application support
- Develop PowerShell and/or Python scripts to automate data movement and operational processes
- Create, maintain, and schedule jobs that deliver timely and accurate reporting data
- Support system interfaces and data exchanges with external organizations while ensuring compliance with established standards
- Maintain application security, support environment governance, and assist with user training
- Provide support for mission-critical cloud-based applications
- Participate in an on-call support rotation and respond to high-priority production issues as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and process documentation
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate
- 2+ years of experience supporting cloud-based applications in a production environment
- 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
- Experience integrating applications with SharePoint, SQL Server, and APIs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvements
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in creating technical documentation and user support materials
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Power Pages
- Experience with Azure services
- Experience developing ETL processes using PowerShell and/or Python
- Experience creating reports with SSRS
- Knowledge of Power Platform governance, security, and administration
- Experience supporting highly available or mission-critical business applications
