We are seeking a skilled MongoDB Administrator to manage, monitor, and support our MongoDB database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MongoDB architecture, deployment, replication, sharding, and performance tuning in production systems. replication & Oplog

THE RESPONSIBILITIES WE ENTRUST YOU WITH

• Database Setup and Configuration: Installing MongoDB, configuring instances, setting up client authentication, and managing connection parameters.
• Database Design and Schema Management: Designing database schemas, tables, and relationships, implementing indexing strategies, and ensuring normalization.
• Security and Access Control: Implementing security measures, managing user roles and permissions, and auditing database activity.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring database performance, tuning queries, optimizing storage, and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Backup and Recovery: Implementing backup and recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and availability in case of failure

Experience & Portfolio

• 10+ years of experience in the relevant field
• BE/BTech in computer science or technology
• MongoDB Expertise: Proficiency in MongoDB syntax, features, and administration tools. replication oplog
• SQL: Strong understanding of SQL, including query optimization and data manipulation.
• Database Design Principles: Knowledge of database normalization, indexing, and other design principles.
• Operating Systems: Understanding operating system concepts related to database performance and stability.
• Security: Knowledge of database security practices and authentication mechanisms.
• Scripting Languages: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
• Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve database issues.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with developers, users, and other team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of other NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Redis) is a plus.
