Our Client Currently looking for Web Developer (Web Design-Focused)
What You’ll Do
- Build clean, visually compelling websites for local merchant clients
- Take a brief or reference and translate it into a well-designed, on-brand site
- Use AI-assisted tools/workflows to speed up development without cutting corners on quality
- Work across a flexible stack – React, Next.js, Svelte, Tailwind, or plain CSS – choosing what’s fastest and most appropriate per project
- Handle multiple small projects concurrently on a part-time basis
What We’re Looking For
- Strong eye for design – layout, typography, color, spacing – not just functional code
- Comfortable using AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, v0, Claude, etc.) as part of a fast production workflow
- Solid frontend fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS) with working knowledge of at least one modern framework (React, Next.js, or Svelte)
- Tailwind experience preferred, gsap, motion.dev experience preferred.
- Portfolio showing sites that are simple in scope but well-designed
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight on straightforward projects
Nice to Have
- Prior experience building for small/local business clients (hospitality, retail, personal care)
- Comfortable turning around fast client revisions
