Job Overview
This role offers you the opportunity to: Lead and build out a high-performing risk management team while staying ahead of regulatory and industry trends Act as a strategic advisor to the Management by developing playbooks for operational risk handling, financial risk planning, capital adequacy, and liquidity planning Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, provide insights, and implement solutions that balance risk with business objectives Partner with Product and Engineering to embed risk management in product design, development, and infrastructure scaling Present risk assessments and stress tests to auditors and regulators, ensuring strong communication and transparency What you’ll bring: 10+ years of experience in risk management within fintech or financial services Proven ability to scale risk management practices in high-growth, fast-paced environments Deep knowledge of BaFin and FCA regulatory frameworks, including ICAAP, ILAAP, and ICARA Strategic thinking with the ability to turn complex risk and regulatory topics into actionable plans Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation Leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams Experience influencing and leading cross-functional stakeholders toward strategic impact
