We are seeking a Data Analyst who is passionate about data and understands its end-to-end lifecycle. This role will play a key part in enabling data-driven transformation across Reinsurance, Actuarial, Finance, and Corporate Functions, supporting the development of trusted data products, analytics solutions, and modern reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with hands-on technical expertise in analytics, SQL, Big Data, and Cloud technologies.
The successful candidate will contribute to the FAIRR Data Hub ecosystem by helping establish a single source of truth for reinsurance data domains, including treaty, premium, claims, recoverables, financial, and operational data. This role will support data onboarding, profiling, quality assessment, reconciliation, governance, and business analytics initiatives that drive operational excellence, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business and functional analysts to develop functional and technical requirements documents for production-grade data and analytics solutions that drive business forward.
• Support Reinsurance Modernization and FAIRR Data Hub initiatives through data analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Partner with Reinsurance, Actuarial, Finance, Operations, Technology, and D&A teams to define and deliver scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Analyze end-to-end reinsurance processes and develop business requirements, data mappings, process flows, and source-to-target technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture, Engineering, Governance, Modeling, Quality, and Data Science teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Understand and Analyze end to end business processes and deliver detailed data flow diagrams.
• Facilitate the interaction between the business and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and solutions meet the requirements.
• Support onboarding of treaty, premium, claims, recoverables, and financial data into the FAIRR Data Hub, ensuring data quality, governance, and traceability.
• Validate and test solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Lead complex data analysis efforts, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and provide recommendations on data solutions and implementation approaches.
• Mentor junior analysts, review deliverables, and promote best practices in data analysis and solutioning.
• Contribute to AI-enabled analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the reinsurance value chain.

Required Qualifications

• 5 – 7+ years of relevant experience in data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent educational qualification.
• Excellent communication and structured problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to document and explain complex system flows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in partner and stakeholder engagement.
• Technical proficiency in data profiling, data validation, and data storage/retrieval principles for Azure, document databases, and relational databases.
• Understanding of data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, and Medallion architecture.
• Domain-based design, solutioning, and estimation experience.
