Our Client is seeking a Tax Director. This role reports to the Tax Partners. This is a client-facing role that offers a diverse and enriching work experience across various industries. Responsibilities:
- Review of complex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
- Review of high-net-worth individual returns
- Research and draft memorandum involving tax matters
- Identify tax planning opportunities
- Train staff on new tax codes
- Handle and resolve tax controversies
- Train, mentor and supervision of staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting
- CPA is a must
- 10+ years of public accounting tax experience including tax return preparation and review, and tax law with ability to research
- Expected to have good communication skills and correspond both orally and in writing with clients and tax authorities
- Experience managing and mentoring staff
