We’re seeking a Systems Engineer to support a high-availability broadcast and media production environment. This role will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production systems, infrastructure, and workflows that support live operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and administer broadcast and production technology systems
- Troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
- Implement technology upgrades and workflow improvements
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Partner with production and business teams to deliver reliable solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in broadcast engineering, media production, or similar environments
- Experience with VMware or other virtualized infrastructure platforms
- Background supporting live production, broadcast operations, or other 24/7 critical systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with technologies such as Evertz, Grass Valley, Ross, Avid, Dalet, Vizrt, ENPS, or similar
- SDI, NDI, and/or ST 2110
- Newsroom, production, or media asset management systems
- Broadcast infrastructure and signal flow
- Networking, storage, Windows Server, and Active Directory
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong broadcast engineering foundation
- Experience supporting television, live production, sports, or media environments
- Comfortable working onsite in DFW
- Hands-on problem solver who thrives in operational environments
