Job Overview
In this role you will:
- Develop, test, and maintain backend systems and data pipelines using Python.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Flask.
- Automate and optimize data movement processes and workflows.
- Use Docker to containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker Compose.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications in cloud environments (AWS, EKS, etc.).
- Write clean, scalable and efficient, code with best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug application and data-related issues.
- Work in an Agile development environment with daily stand-ups and code reviews.

The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of Python development experience, particularly in backend systems and data scripting (exceptional skills will be considered regardless of years)
- Hands on, professional experience coding in C++
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning including model development, training and evaluation.
- Proficiency with Flask or other Python web frameworks.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, data movement, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
