Our Client  is seeking a Senior Robotics Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop rapid prototypes and conduct feasibility studies to validate technical approaches
  • Design, implement, and test software applications and supporting components
  • Build graphical user interfaces using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) design pattern
  • Develop software and reusable libraries focused on communication with FANUC robots
  • Create libraries that integrate external devices and sensors, including infrared and color cameras, laser profilometers, ultrasonic probes, PLCs, motor-control systems, and digital I/O devices
  • Use or develop tools for offline robotic-arm path planning and collision avoidance
  • Apply stereo-vision image processing and laser profilometry to locate objects in three-dimensional space
  • Develop calibration processes for tools, sensors, and objects within a robotic cell
  • Evaluate the feasibility and accuracy of sensors, algorithms, and predictive models for specific automation tasks
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Five or more years of relevant software engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in C#
  • Professional experience with object-oriented programming, .NET standards, and dependency injection
  • Experience developing with WPF and MVVM
  • Experience using development tools such as Visual Studio and Git
  • Working knowledge of linear algebra and trigonometry
