Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Palantir Engineer. Duties Include:
- Act as Palantir subject matter expert (SME) throughout the POC period
- Partner with the Palantir team to understand architecture, data models, and integration approaches
- Provide independent assessments of technical configurations, data pipelines, and governance setup to ensure best practices and scalability
- Evaluate Palantir features and capabilities against client’s sourcing and supplier data objectives (e.g., ingestion, curation, analytics, and reporting)
- Identify opportunities to maximize value and ROI from the POC by ensuring alignment with the Company’s Azure Data Domain strategy
- Document technical learnings, configuration recommendations, and POC outcomes for internal reference
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with the internal Data and Power Platform teams
- Serve as -eyes and ears- during workshops, ensuring technical depth, transparency, and alignment on deliverables and success criteria
- Advise leadership on POC progress, risks, and potential long-term adoption strategy
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or platform integration, with at least 2+ years of direct experience working with Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data platforms
- Deep understanding of data ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), ontology modeling, and data governance within Palantir
- Strong technical background with experience in Azure, Databricks, Python, SQL, APIs, and data pipeline orchestration
- Proven ability to evaluate new technologies and provide strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interface with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience supporting proof of concept or platform evaluation projects within large enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience integrating Palantir with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, or Power BI
- Familiarity with procurement, sourcing, or supplier data domains
- Consulting or advisory background, particularly in technology enablement or data strategy initiatives
