As a multidisciplinary designer, you bring a strong hand in both graphic design and experiential design to every project, translating brand systems into fully realized physical environments. You take high-level creative narratives and turn them into tangible, high-fidelity spaces, applying the same rigor to a floor plan that you’d apply to a brand guideline. You design the event’s design system, apply it across the environment, and then conceptualize the interactive moments that immerse the audience in the strategy behind it.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Vision Translation: Take abstract concepts and turn them into concrete design directions, mood boards, and spatial layouts
  • Brand & Systems Application: Design the event’s visual and design system, then apply it across physical touchpoints, from print and signage to full-scale environments, keeping consistency and craft intact at every scale
  • Activation Concepting: Conceptualize immersive and interactive activations that bring the event strategy to life
  • Environmental Design: Shape the look and feel of a space, aligning lighting, materiality, and spatial flow with the experiential story
  • Collaborative Execution: Work cross-collaboratively with the broader design team, from creative to production, to make sure the vision comes through at every stage without losing creative integrity
  • Sensory Detail: Own the granular details, material sourcing, color palettes, and environmental styling, that turn a space into a cohesive, immersive reality
Requirements
  • Experience: 8-10 years in Art Direction, with a strong mix of graphic design/brand systems and experiential, event, and environmental design
  • Design Systems: Hands-on craft applying brand and graphic design systems in physical space
  • Environmental Design: Proven experience designing for events, spaces, or immersive environments, translating 2D brand elements into 3D experiences
  • Sensory Design Knowledge: Understanding of how physical elements (lighting, materiality, spatial flow) shape how people experience a brand
  • Storytelling Ability: A portfolio showing the ability to carry a concept across a complex, multi-day or multi-room experience
  • Communication: Ability to clearly explain design choices to stakeholders and connect them to broader business goals
