We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Controls Technician to support commissioning, startup, and maintenance of advanced automation systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain experience with PLCs, robotics, AMRs, conveyors, and industrial controls.
Responsibilities:
- Commission and support automation equipment and control systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, motors, sensors, and electrical systems
- Support robotics, conveyors, AMRs, and material handling equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Assist with system integration and startup activities
- Perform basic industrial networking troubleshooting (TCP/IP, Profinet)
- Help maintain system performance and production uptime
Requirements
- Entry level candidate or up to 3 years of relevant experience
- Background in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
- Basic PLC knowledge (Siemens preferred)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Hands-on technical aptitude and willingness to work on the production floor
Preferred Skills:
- Internship or hands-on PLC experience
- Exposure to robotics, automation, AGVs, or AMRs
- Manufacturing or production environment experience
- Basic industrial networking knowledge
- Experience with conveyors or automated material handling systems
