We are seeking an experienced PROCAS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a government contracting organization undergoing an accounting transition and future ERP migration. This consultant will serve as the primary resource for PROCAS-related activities, providing system expertise, training, troubleshooting, and support for critical accounting operations including payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and helping stabilize accounting processes while supporting the organization’s planned migration to Unanet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary PROCAS expert for accounting and finance operations
• Provide guidance and support on payroll processing, billing, invoicing, labor distribution, and project accounting functions within PROCAS
• Review and validate accounting and payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Troubleshoot system issues, data discrepancies, and coding challenges within PROCAS
• Train accounting and finance personnel on PROCAS functionality and best practices
• Assist with month end, year end, and historical financial close activities
• Support government contracting accounting requirements and compliance considerations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve accounting processes and system utilization
• Provide recommendations and support related to a future migration from PROCAS to Unanet
• Evaluate and resolve issues associated with automated data uploads and system integrations
