We’re seeking a System Administrator to support mission-critical infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of servers, workstations, and operating environments.
What You’ll Do:
- Install, configure, maintain, and support operating systems, servers, workstations, and web servers
- Perform software installations, upgrades, and patch management in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance to ensure maximum availability and efficiency
- Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and recoverability
- Maintain operating system and application environments through configuration, change, and lifecycle management
- Develop and promote standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation
- Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and configuration requirements
- Maintain system inventories, configuration baselines, and supporting documentation repositories
- Evaluate and implement hardware and software solutions to improve reliability, performance, and operational effectiveness
Requirements
- Experience administering Windows and/or Linux server environments
- Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Knowledge of system performance monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of configuration management and change management best practices
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment
