Our client currently looking for Javascript Application Developer
Responsibilities:
- Execute on the Full life cycle of system development projects through agile/scrum process
- Manage a portfolio of projects around market data, and app migration from on-prem to the Cloud
- Develop and maintain core applications used by the front office
- Assist in designing the next generation of application architecture
- Boost efficiency and code quality
- Gather user requirements from the end users, and transform complex needs to high performing technical products
Requirements:
- College Degree in computer science or other related degree
- 3-5+ years of development experience in a financial service company, ideally asset management
- Must have experience in at least one asset class i.e fixed Income, commodities, Credit
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React is required
- Familiarity with modern tooling: Webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Ability to write high performing SQL queries, procs, tables and views
- Hands-on AWS development experience preferred
- Experience with migrating and supporting applications from on-prem infrastructure to Cloud
