As a Guidewire BillingCenter Developer , you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing Guidewire BillingCenter solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in configuring and customizing the BillingCenter application to meet specific client needs, ensuring seamless integration with other Guidewire modules and external systems. This role directly impacts the efficiency and accuracy of our clients’ billing processes, contributing to improved customer satisfaction and revenue management.
Key Responsibilities :
– Design and develop Guidewire BillingCenter configurations and customizations based on business requirements.
– Configure BillingCenter rules, rates, and payment plans to align with client-specific pricing strategies.
– Develop and maintain integration components between BillingCenter and other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter) and external systems.
– Perform unit testing and participate in system integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the implemented solutions.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BillingCenter functionality and performance.
– Collaborate with business analysts and architects to refine requirements and propose optimal solutions.
– Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and test plans.
– Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Required Skillset :
– Demonstrated ability to configure and customize Guidewire BillingCenter applications.
– Proven expertise in Guidewire configuration, including scripting, data model extensions, and UI customization.
– Strong understanding of XML and related technologies.
– Experience integrating Guidewire BillingCenter with other Guidewire modules, particularly PolicyCenter.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
– Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
– Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
