Our Client is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Infrastructure Engineering team to help grow our global team of engineers focused on developing tools to deploy, observe, and maintain a first-class, highly available cloud platform at massive scale. This is a software development role where candidates with a strong background in Golang and React will shine.
What You’ll Do:
The team is responsible for building and operating internal cloud management and developer platform. We’re a small, remote-first team of full stack engineers building APIs and UIs in Go and TypeScript. You will:
- Build new features in modern Single Page Applications using TypeScript and React
- Develop and maintain microservices using Golang and modern cloud-native technologies
- Build and enhance gRPC and RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience in Golang, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Python
- Experience building gRPC and RESTful APIs
- Experience building modern SPAs
- Experience operating in Linux environments
- Experience operating within the cloud, preferably AWS
- Experience with CI/CD concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, and deployment concepts
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with GitOps workflows and tools like FluxCD
- Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams
