Job Overview
Our client currently looking for Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer
– End-to-end Feature development: Responsible for the overall development, design, and implementation of front-end/back-end services.
– Realtime Feature Dev: Contribute to and develop the architecture for enabling real-time capabilities across our platform.
– Building Front End Components: Building pixel-perfect front-end components (ex. Lit framework) and iterating user-focused applications and interfaces.
– Performance Optimization: Identify, assess, and improve bottlenecks or scaling issues. ie looking for ways to make the product better!
Qualifications:
– 6+ years full stack experience building and scaling services in Ruby and JavaScript (ideally experienced in Typescript)
– Strong in both Ruby on Rails and modern JS Web development
– Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices
– Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP)
– Write test suites and deploy using our CI/CD pipeline
– Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL
