Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and scope, facilitating accurate estimation of resources and timelines.
- Research and evaluate labor, material, and overhead costs by consulting historical data and industry benchmarks to enhance estimation reliability.
- Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to create comprehensive cost models, improving efficiency and accuracy in the estimation process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential.
- Sheet metal based manual estimation experience is preferred
- A minimum of 3-8 years of experience in cost estimation is required for effective performance.
- Proven experience in the engineering industry is essential, with specific knowledge of structural or mechanical estimation.
