Our Client Currently looking for E&I Workshop Senior Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage E&I workshop operations, including overhauling, rewinding, testing, and commissioning
• Oversee HV/MV/LV motors and alternators (up to 11kV), including explosion‑proof motors and DC motors
• Plan and run production schedules, budgets, manpower allocation, and resource planning
• Ensure full compliance with HSEQ, IMIMS, SOLAS, and Class Rules
• Manage overtime, manhours, cost control, and productivity reporting
• Supervise internal teams and subcontractors; drive performance, training, and capability development
• Oversee QA/QC documentation, inspections, condition reports, and repair methodologies
• Troubleshoot technical issues during overhaul, rewinding, and testing phases
• Support tendering, bid preparation, and workload forecasting
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation, and efficiency initiatives

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 12+ years’ experience in shipyard, ship repair, offshore, or maritime MRO environments
• Stronghands‑on expertise in:
  • Motor and alternator overhauling & rewinding
  • Explosion‑proof motors
  • Flexible balancing, testing, and calibration
• Proven leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tools, ERP/asset management systems
• Fluent English communication (written and verbal)
