Our Client is seeking a strategic Director of Finance to support a large business unit. This highly visible hybrid role will partner with senior leaders to guide financial planning, optimize technology investments, evaluate business opportunities, and improve financial performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, target setting, and management reporting
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior finance leaders
- Conduct variance, scenario, risk, and opportunity analyses
- Partner with technology, sourcing, regional, and corporate teams to improve financial results
- Identify and implement reporting, planning, and process improvements
- Support internal controls, risk management, and compliance activities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 7 years of Significant Finance experience within a large matrix organization
- Experience managing complex global reporting and planning processes
- Experience leading teams, developing talent, and managing change
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using Oracle and Hyperion; Apptio, Technology Business Management, or Agile IT methodologies a plus
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, financial reporting, and investment analysis
- Familiarity with Apptio, Technology Business Management, or Agile IT methodologies preferred
- Proven ability to advise and influence senior business leaders
