Our client is seeking a Developer
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services and full-stack applications for banking and integration platforms.
- Build integrations covering message transformation, send/receive logic, retries, logging, persistence, and resubmission.
- Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs and message queues for secure system-to-system communication.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and other application security controls.
- Develop workflow management and transaction processing components with appropriate error handling and recovery mechanisms.
- Implement comprehensive audit trails, transaction logging, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot integration and application issues and support production deployments.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, ETL Engineers, QA, and banking application teams to deliver robust solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, and backend development.
- Experience with integration platforms, message queues, and transaction processing systems.
- Strong understanding of message transformation, retry mechanisms, error handling, logging, persistence, and audit frameworks.
- Good knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API development.
- Experience with databases and SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Banking/payment or financial transaction processing experience will be highly preferred.
