Job Overview
We’re looking for a Desktop Support Tech to provide daily end-user support for staff and sales associates in a local network environment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware/software issues, configuring and upgrading equipment, maintaining network and telecom systems, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to resolve incidents and support projects. Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support Tech will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (Windows & Mac)
- Configure new workstations, upgrade existing equipment/software
- Support LAN/server connectivity and perform root cause analysis
- Utilize ticketing and asset management systems (ServiceNow/Ivanti a plus)
- As a Desktop Support Tech, you will re-image computers, perform data migrations/restorations
- Support Microsoft 365 applications
- Collaborate on local and national IT projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of IT support experience
- Strong customer service (verbal & written) and emotional intelligence
- Hardware and network troubleshooting experience
- Professional presence, organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
