We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to support and maintain our Microsoft 365 environment, endpoint infrastructure, and end-user computing experience. This role combines hands-on user support, modern endpoint and identity administration, and physical hardware lifecycle management.

This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate has strong service desk experience, is comfortable handling escalated support calls, and can independently troubleshoot complex technical issues while contributing to the administration of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Microsoft 365 services.

This role requires a high level of customer interaction, technical ownership of issues, and the ability to balance support responsibilities with system administration tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

End-User Support & Service Desk :

– Provide Level 2/3 technical support for end users, including handling escalated tickets, support calls, and complex troubleshooting scenarios

– Act as an escalation point for Level 1 technicians and assist in resolving advanced hardware, software, and access issues

– Troubleshoot issues across Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, identity systems, and network access

– Deliver excellent customer service through phone, ticketing system, and in-person support

– Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge base articles

Microsoft 365 & Endpoint Administration :

– Support the administration of Microsoft Intune, including device compliance, configuration profiles, application deployment, and lifecycle management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android

– Assist with management of Azure AD (Entra ID), including user lifecycle, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and role-based access controls

– Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, including :

1. Teams (policies, voice/telephony, governance, integrations)

2. SharePoint Online (permissions, site management, data governance)

3. Exchange Online (mailbox management, mail flow, security policies)

4. Office applications (deployment, updates, and advanced troubleshooting)

– Contribute to automation and process improvement using PowerShell and M365 administrative tools

Hardware & Endpoint Lifecycle Management :

– Support the full lifecycle of IT hardware, including inventory management, configuration, deployment, maintenance, recovery, and secure disposal

– Perform hands-on support for PCs, laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and peripherals

– Image, configure, and deploy devices for new hires and replacements

– Diagnose and repair hardware issues or coordinate vendor support as needed

– Maintain accurate asset records and documentation in alignment with internal processes and audit requirements

– Assist with shipping/receiving and equipment logistics

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement :

– Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support a secure, stable, and scalable environment

– Identify opportunities to improve support processes, user experience, and system performance

– Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and deployments

Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements :

– 3+ years of IT service desk or technical support experience (mid-level, not entry-level)

– Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows OS, endpoints, and enterprise applications

– Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 environments

– Working knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID, including identity and access management concepts

– Experience handling escalated support issues and user-facing problem resolution

– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP), pivot tables, and data manipulation

– Experience supporting hardware (PCs, laptops, peripherals) in a business environment

– Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications :

– Experience with Tanium or similar endpoint/security management tools

– Scripting experience with PowerShell

– Exposure to Conditional Access, endpoint security, and Zero Trust concepts

– Experience in hybrid or cloud-first IT environments

– Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, etc.)
