Under direct supervision, assist in the design of sourcing and recruiting strategies and implement those strategies to identify and attract qualified and diverse candidates.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the training and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal hiring managers to fully understand hiring objectives. Facilitate the requisition request process.
  • Understand and communicate to hiring managers Affirmative Action goals.
  • Source candidates through networking, employee referrals, job boards, social media presence, ad searches, career fairs, internet postings and direct contact.
  • Guide candidates through the recruiting process, including evaluation of skills and expertise, the interview process and salary negotiation.
  • Submit candidates directly to hiring managers, providing information needed to facilitate hiring decisions, including salary recommendations.  Coordinate interview and follow up activities.
  • Facilitate the offer process, including salary negotiations; partner with hiring managers, senior leaders and compensation team members as needed.
  • Ensure proper requisition and offer approvals are obtained, and all activity is tracked in the applicant tracking system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Connect with candidates and hiring managers on a regular basis to ensure expectations are met.
  • Serve as a resource to hiring managers for consultation and education on recruitment best practices.
  • Stay abreast of current recruiting trends and recommend creative strategies to meet hiring goals.
  • Adhere to all fair employment laws and practices.
