We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Analyst with a robust background in credit analysis , preferably focused on real estate leases. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of combined experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to credit analysis and additional business analyst experience being highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough credit assessments for commercial real estate leases, focusing on risks related to borrower operations, industry sectors, and collateral.

• Financial Reporting: Provide detailed analysis of corporate financial statements, with a special emphasis on line items relevant to commercial real estate lease credit.

• Financial Spreading: Spread financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and industry-specific guidelines to evaluate creditworthiness.

• Banking Knowledge: Utilize an in-depth understanding of commercial lending, credit, and banking regulations, laws, and internal policies to inform and guide credit decisions.

• Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with commercial real estate leases, ensuring compliance with relevant banking laws and internal procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Geographical Financial Exposure: Experience analyzing financials across multiple geographies is highly desirable.

• Client Interaction: Prior experience in direct client interactions as a credit analyst or business analyst in commercial real estate lease credit.

• Project Management: Experience in project management, requirement gathering, and documentation is a plus, though not mandatory.

• Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate market and related credit products.

Skills and Competencies:

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess financial statements and identify potential credit risks.

• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in credit assessments and financial analyses.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop solutions to mitigate credit risks.
