Our Client to identify a Fund Controller to join their team. This on-site position offers the opportunity to play a key role in fund operations and financial reporting while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain fund accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting schedules across multiple investment entities
- Manage capital calls, distributions, cash activity, management fees, and partner allocations
- Prepare quarterly financial statements, investor reporting, and capital account statements
- Support forecasting, audits, tax reporting, and fund governance documentation
- Oversee relationships with third-party fund administrators and ensure compliance with fund operations
- Identify opportunities to improve fund accounting and reporting processes through automation and AI-enabled tools while maintaining strong internal controls
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities
- Contribute to special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 4+ years of accounting, finance, or fund accounting experience; Public accounting, private equity, or financial services experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Experience leveraging technology and AI-enabled tools to improve processes, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
