We are seeking a customer focused and detail oriented Financial Services Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional member service, accurately processing financial transactions, identifying member needs, and promoting products and services that enhance the member experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cashier’s checks, and other financial transactions
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain proper cash handling procedures
• Deliver outstanding member service by building rapport and addressing member needs professionally and efficiently
• Educate members on available products and services and identify opportunities to cross sell and upsell solutions that meet their financial goals
• Achieve monthly referral and sales goals through effective member conversations and relationship building
• Resolve member inquiries and concerns while exercising sound judgment and decision making
• Maintain a strong understanding of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all security, regulatory, and operational requirements
• Assist with account maintenance, account opening support, and general branch operations as needed
• Support multiple branch locations and travel between branches when business needs require
• Participate in branch initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment
