We are seeking an experienced Snowflake & Alteryx Lead with 7+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, and cloud data platforms.
The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Alteryx, along with experience in designing scalable data solutions, workflow automation, and analytics enablement.
The role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver efficient, high-performing data and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Snowflake Development & Administration :
– Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
– Build and optimize data pipelines, data models, and ELT/ETL processes within Snowflake environments.
– Implement performance tuning, query optimization, and cost optimization strategies in Snowflake.
– Manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, warehouses, roles, and security policies.
– Support data integration from multiple data sources into Snowflake.
Alteryx Development & Automation :
– Design and develop workflows, automation processes, and analytical solutions using Alteryx.
– Build reusable and scalable Alteryx workflows for data preparation, transformation, and reporting.
– Automate business processes and improve operational efficiency through workflow optimization.
– Troubleshoot and optimize existing Alteryx workflows for performance and reliability.
Data Engineering & Analytics :
– Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand data and reporting requirements.
– Develop end-to-end data solutions supporting analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
– Ensure data quality, governance, consistency, and security across data platforms.
– Support real-time and batch data processing requirements.
Leadership & Delivery :
– Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design activities.
– Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
– Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.
– Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and operational support documents.
Required Skills & Experience :
– 7+ years of relevant experience in Snowflake and Alteryx.
– Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake data warehouse development and administration.
– Experience in designing and developing Alteryx workflows and automation solutions.
– Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
– Experience with ETL/ELT processes and cloud-based data architectures.
– Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
– Experience with performance tuning and optimization in Snowflake.
– Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications :
– Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
– Exposure to BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
– Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, or other automation tools.
– Snowflake and/or Alteryx certifications are preferred.
– Experience working in Agile delivery environments
