We are seeking a hands‑on Head of Risk & Compliance to take ownership of  enterprise risk management and compliance function.

This is a senior, individual‑contributor role operating without a dedicated risk or compliance team. It is ideal for an experienced risk and compliance leader who enjoys doing the work, building strong systems, and working closely with executives and Boards.

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of  Risk Management Framework and compliance systems, while also providing clear, evidence‑based assurance to the Executive Leadership Team, Audit & Risk Committee, and Boards.

Enterprise Risk & Compliance (hands‑on)

• Own and operate  Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including the Enterprise‑Wide Risk Register.
• Maintain and update risk and compliance registers, follow up actions, and ensure evidence is complete and current.
• Conduct and support enterprise and project risk assessments, including articulation, rating, escalation and treatment tracking.
• Ensure risks are escalated appropriately in line with escalation thresholds.

Governance & Assurance

• Prepare high‑quality Risk and Compliance reports for the Executive Leadership Team, Audit & Risk Committee, and Boards.
• Provide assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and compliance systems.
• Coordinate internal audit activities, maintain the Internal Audit Action Register, and track remediation to closure.

Compliance & Regulation

• Oversee identification and monitoring of  obligations under the   Aged Care Rules, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, and other applicable legislation.
• Own the Enterprise Compliance Calendar and follow up non‑compliance or emerging issues with accountable leaders.
• Support regulatory engagement and assurance activities as required.

Policy & Framework Alignment

• Lead development and maintenance of enterprise risk‑ and compliance‑related policies.
• Work closely with clinical, operational, technology and corporate leaders to ensure alignment between local practices and enterprise frameworks.
• Partner with technology leaders on cyber, data and information security risk.
